Enactus is a global organization that believes investing in students who take entrepreneurial action for others creates a better world for us all. There are Enactus clubs in 36 different countries around the world with over 72,000 young adults driving social change in their community through innovation.
In my senior year of university, I was elected the VP of Marketing for Enactus Acadia University. The club wanted a fresh new look to their chapter that maes them stand out from the others in Atlantic Canada. We wanted something that was simple, but captured the Acadia spirit. This lead me to come up with a simple logo design that combines the iconic elements of both brands. The oragami bird from Enactus and the illustration of Universty Hall at Acadia Universty, combined with the font of the iconic Acadia sign at Al Whittle Theatre in the heart of Wolfville (home of Acadia University)
My year as VP of Marketing was filled with designing various marketing and promotional material for the club and managing their social media channels to maintain engagement not only with the students, but the community at large.
